    Devon Uzell, Founder/CEO

Devon grew up in Cleveland as the oldest of five siblings, where competition wasn’t just encouraged — it was a way of life. A die-hard fan of the Browns, Cavs, Guardians, and Buckeyes, Devon carried his love for sports and competition into every aspect of his life. After moving to Houston for high school and later attending Texas State, he returned to Cleveland in 2018, where his journey into sales began.

In 2020, Devon seized the opportunity to open an office in Kansas City alongside lifelong friends. What started as a leap of faith quickly turned into a proving ground, where he sharpened his sales abilities and, more importantly, his leadership skills. Devon’s gift is his ability to bring out the absolute best in people — inspiring them to hit their goals not for him, but for themselves. His drive, grit, and relentless resilience have become hallmarks of his leadership style.

Devon’s competitive spirit shows up everywhere — whether on the golf course, on the basketball court, or even gaming with his boys — but it’s his resilience that sets him apart. He lives by the philosophy to always adapt, pivot, and overcome, a mindset that not only defines him but also the company he leads.

The name AP72 carries deep personal meaning. Both of Devon’s parents were born in April of 1972, and the company colors reflect their favorite colors — embedding his biggest inspirations into the foundation of the business. At the same time, “A&P” stands for Adapt and Pivot, a principle that has guided Devon throughout his life and career.

Today, as CEO of AP72 Inc., Devon continues to channel his energy, competitiveness, and vision into building a culture of growth, resilience, and excellence, creating a company where people are empowered to thrive.

    Halley Perez, HR DIrector

Halley is the voice behind the phone and often the first introduction people have to AP72 Inc. A driven and outgoing professional from Western Kansas, Halley graduated from Fort Hays State University before beginning her career journey. A former college athlete, she brings the same energy and competitive spirit that defined her years in sports into her professional life. Her time as a student-athlete instilled in her the values of teamwork, resilience, and goal-focused determination — traits she now uses daily to connect with people and drive results.

Halley first met Devon and Colton in Kansas City, where their vision for building something bigger inspired her to take a leap of faith and join the AP72 team. Before stepping into this role, she sharpened her communication and interpersonal skills through years of serving experience, consistently building rapport with diverse clientele, and then also in Kansas City when she began in the world of sales. That background laid a strong foundation for her success in sales and recruitment, where building meaningful relationships is at the core of everything she does.

Outside of work, Halley loves exploring the city and uncovering new treasures wherever she goes. Whether she’s connecting with a candidate or discovering something new, she brings curiosity, energy, and authenticity to every interaction.

    Andrew “Drew” Chargois, Team Lead

Drew grew up in Kansas City, where competition has always been a defining part of his life. As the youngest of five, he constantly had something to prove, and his years on the swim team only fueled his drive to push harder and never give up. That competitive edge followed him into his professional career, where he began working in sales in 2024 and quickly proved he had the resilience and mindset to thrive.

Outside of work, Drew is passionate about travel — with Hawaii as an annual destination — and loves fishing and gaming with friends. He’s also known for his unique talent of blowing into a conch shell like something straight out of Moana, a playful reminder that his personality blends both fun and determination.

What truly sets Drew apart, however, is his mindset. His superpower is his unwavering belief that everything will work out as it should. With a “figure it out” mentality, he embraces challenges head-on, confident that his path will always pave itself with effort, persistence, and trust. Today, as a Team Lead at AP72 Inc., Drew channels his competitiveness, positivity, and leadership to inspire others and help the team succeed.

    Colton Hutchinson, Team Lead

Colton grew up “in the Stix” of Western Kansas, in the small town of Smith Center (population 1,000). Raised in a close-knit family with three siblings, the Hutchinson household was full of energy, competition, and sports — a passion that has followed him throughout life.

Colton earned his degree in Exercise Science while playing football at Baker University. After graduation, despite having no prior sales experience, he took a leap and joined Marksman Solutions. What he lacked in sales background, he made up for with his natural drive to help people, his competitive spirit, and his gift for conversation — he could “talk to a wall if needed.” It was there that he first worked alongside Devon, building the partnership that would later shape his career.

Known around the office as an energy battery, Colton lives by the belief that “energy transfers.” One conversation with him, and you’ll walk away recharged, motivated, and ready to compete.

Today, Colton serves as Team Lead at AP72 Inc., bringing his love for people, competition, and growth to the forefront as he helps lead the company forward alongside the CEO.
